Overview

In choreographer Zahra Killeen-Chance's A Figure Exhales, dance is stripped down to and then built around the body's most basic, constant movement: breathing. The show is said to use, "sharp-edged and refined choreography to play with the visibility of the breathing body."

Zahra Killeen-Chance has toured New Zealand and Asia with White Fungus, had her work performed at the Oceanic Performance Biennial in Rarotonga and was awarded the 'Best Emerging Choreographer' in Metro's 2012 Best of Auckland list.

A Figure Exhales will be performed by Kosta Bogoievski, Lisa Greenfeild, Tallulah Holly-Massey, and Jessie McCall and accompanied by an original soundscape from Emi Pogoni.
