Are the walls looking a little bare in your new flat now that you've finally taken down your Christmas decorations? Maybe the new villa you're renovating could do with some art gracing its hallway but your double mortgage has you weighed down.

Well my friends, Art Ache has got your back. The twice-yearly event gives you access to some of the country's hottest emerging fine artists who have made new work especially for the occasion. This time around the artists showcasing their work are Angus McNaughton, Zora Bell Boyd, Mary Macgregor-Reid and Rebecca Zephyr-Thomas. There's also an artist remaining anonymous for political reasons so that's surely enough to pique your interest.

The prices are entry level so if you go easy on the craft beers you'll be able go home with more than just a bloated stomach. Oh, and it's taking place at everyone's favourite Ponsonby Road haunt, The Golden Dawn, just to sweeten the deal.
