Overview

After failing to show at their last scheduled appearance in 2012, all five-members of harmonious rap group Bone Thugs-n-Harmony will finally make their way back to New Zealand.

Made up of Bizzy Bone, Wish Bone, Layzie Bone, Krayzie Bone, Flesh-n-Bone, the collective initially began under the name The Band-Aid Boys. After a back stage audition for N.W.A’s Eazy-E they signed to Ruthless Records, changed their name, and made their mainstream debut with Creepin on ah Come Up, an EP focussed almost entirely on violent criminal activity.

They continued with their unique crossover style of vocal harmonising and fast-paced rapping to produce eleven studio albums; their best known being E. 1999 Eternal, which was released four months after the death of their mentor Eazy-E. It gave the group their first #1 hit single (‘Crossroads’), and has subsequently sold more than 10 million units worldwide.

Due to conflicts within the group, Krayzie Bone and Wish Bone officially left the group in 2011, though were quick to face the skeletons in the closet one year later. The group’s upcoming tour dates with be the first time all five bones have performed in New Zealand.
