Genres like dubstep, folk and hip-hop aren't ones you'd typically associate with one another - unless you're a fan of Imagine Dragons.

The self described alternative-rock band from Las Vegas will be melding all of the above into their first New Zealand performance on October 15, supporting their debut album Night Visions.

As well as an array of genre-mashing hits, the band will perform their #1 single 'Radioactive'; a song Rolling Stone called "the biggest rock hit of the year".
