Overview

With a comedy career that has spanned 15 years, Jamie Bowen still appears fairly youthful. Perhaps its the hipster beard or the ever present beanie that covers his balded scalp.

That perfectly tended facial hair serves him well as he runs his fingers through it and ponders life with some of the funniest insights imaginable. He's that comedian who makes things that don't make sense, make sense, and vice versa.

A nominee for the prestigious 2014 Fred award (best NZ act overall at the NZ International Comedy Festival), Bowen is a talented comedy writer having written episodes for television shows Sunny Skies and A Night At the Classic. He has played at festivals the world over so expect tales about the strange intricacies of living in London, and the harsh realities of moving back to New Zealand and finding yourself in the midst of a mid-life crisis.
