Meet the Beer Makers

Struggling to find the optimum variety of hops? Carbonation gone haywire? Getting an over-bittered end result? No idea what I'm talking about? Never fear.

The next edition of the Meet the Maker series will welcome some of the country's best local craft brewers for an evening of banter, beer and food. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask all of those burning questions and meet the faces behind independent breweries like Bach Brewing, Laughing Bones Brewing Co, and Weezledog Brewing Company, as well as sample some of their marvellous creations.

For those just wanting to sink a few on a Saturday night, the event is also a valid option. Judge Bao will be serving delicious up their contemporary steamed buns, sticky ribs and fried chicken to keep hunger at bay. There will also be ice cream sandwiches, and something called beeramisu.

Meet the Maker is not for profit initiative which aims to showcase local artisan food and beverage producers and to build an environment where others can meet the heroes behind the brands.
