Movies in the Square

Overview

The weather's warming up, jandals are being fished out of the closet and Auckland's awesome outdoor film season has just begun. The first location offering al fresco cinema this spring is Maki Street Town Square, outside Auckland's newest shopping mall, NorthWest. Bring your plushest picnic blanket, a couple deck chairs, a few mates and enjoy a selection of Kiwi and international films - at 7.30 pm every Friday until February.

The schedule for the rest of this year is chock full of classics that anyone can enjoy (except for Alvin and the Chipmunks, that's strictly for the wee ones).
