Overview

Growing up many of us would have secretly, if not rightly declared our dream of being David Attenborough— his job unrivaled has to be one of the best in the world.

A naturalist, explorer, director and documentary maker Sir Attenborough comes to New Zealand this February to host a number of live shows with Ray Martin. Sir David Attenborough - A Quest for Life will see Attenborough's career reminisced, reexamined and reported upon. More than a score and decade of work combined is tribute to Attenborough's 60 years studying and observing the natural world. Adventures which started in Sierra Leone in search of the white-necked rock fowl, and spiraled off into Malaysia, Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula, Madagascar, West Africa, Great Barrier Reef, across both polar regions and into the depths of all five of the world's oceans.

Mountains, caves, jungles and great plains, Attenborough has studied and observed our natural wilderness like no other, devoting his life to celebrating and preserving wildlife. The man behind the voice that is responsible for transforming our homes into adventure zones and sparking our interest and imagination will present to audiences his life work— a career dedicated to the natural world, the changes he has witnessed and he environmental challenges the natural world now faces.
