Overview

One of the more casual events of Restaurant Month will see chefs leave the safety of their kitchens to serve up street food out of a former cargo shed. All the bells and whistles will still be present in their food, so you can wipe the thought of soggy chips and an overpriced mince and cheese from your mind. Past years have seen appearances from the likes of top notch restauranteurs: Bird on a Wire, Orleans, The Food Truck, The Grill, and Toto Pizza.

The gourmet hawkers market is being boasted as the biggest yet and will cover all three main meals of the day. Offerings have also been tipped to span the far reaches of Mexico, Israel, India, France and Italy. Confirmed restaurants so far include Besos Latinos, Mexico NZ, Orleans, iVillage, Ima Cuisine, Urban Turban Restaurant, Monsoon Poon, Toto Pizza, Thai Street, The Food Truck and Box Of Bird.

The $5 entry fee will include to access to beer and wine bars, entertainment for the kids and live music.
