Overview

Just because you're back in the thick of the daily grind that doesn't mean the holiday vibes need to fizzle out like an uneven spray tan. Sun & Sounds is the perfect weekend outing to keep the good times rolling. Back for its fourth year on January 14, the open-air beach festival combines all the best sunny season elements: beats, drinks, games and food.

The grassy slopes of Takapuna Beach Reserve will serve as the mosh pit for 'classic shirtless guy' and the rest of the larrikins from 1pm till 11pm. Providing the beats will be DJs: Grant Marshall, Sam Hill, Karn Hall, AlexQ, Lewis McCullum, DJ Momentus, Erika Amoore, Zeisha Fremaux, DVNM and Qemist. Beachside, there will be games in the form of volleyball, beach soccer, beach cricket, while a number of food and drink stalls will set up around the reserve.
