Overview

In September 2016, Peter Beck's Rocket Lab became the second company in the history of the planet to have put something into orbit. "It usually takes a government and a nation a decade to get it right – it's tricky, but it's important." Beck told Newshub earlier in the year before the launch. Soon, the Rocket Lab founder hopes to provide satellite launches at a fraction of the current cost by using its Electron rocket system.

Humans like Peter Beck from Rocket Lab - including Rod Drury from Xero, Ian Taylor from Animation Research Limited, Frances Valintine from The Mind Lab by Unitec and Dr Keith Alexander from Springfree Trampoline, will be gathering at MOTAT come March to share their hard-earned wisdom to those eager and hungry to have the same (or even just some) kind of impact on the world.
