Overview

With the recent transformation of food vendor gathering spot The Street Food Collective into a fully fledged restaurant, advocates of cuisine on the run have been left scaling the streets to get their next hit of made-to-order pasta and steamed buns. Luckily, Urban Street Fest is here to ease the pain.

The debut outing of the street food hangout is set to take place on September 1. And taking into consideration Auckland's unpredictable weather, organisers have secured an indoor location at 44 George St, Kingsland for the event.

Dropping anchor to hawk their wares will be: Judge Bao with their modern take on traditional Chinese dishes, Korean-Mexican fusion Coreano, made-to-order pasta makers Got Pasta, organic smoothie bar RAWE, authentic Dutch fry friers Double Dutch Fries and Temaki Truck with their Brazilian twist on Japanese sushi rolls. Additional vendors are expected to be announced.

Live music has also been teased as a component of the event, making it an all-out family-friendly jamboree.
