Mr Toms Launches a Weekly Whiskey and Chocolate Lounge

It's no secret that chocolate and whiskey are a marriage made in heaven. The sweet treat has the ability to accentuate certain flavours in the spirit while delicately mingling with others. At the other end of the spectrum, when the wrong set come together it can throw your tastebuds in the direction of worn sneakers, stale grass and unwashed hair.

To help you learn a bit more about chocolate and whiskey, channel your inner Don Draper, and avoid a complete food pairing catastrophe, Ponsonby favourite Mr Toms is trialling a new initiative called the Whiskey and Chocolate Lounge.

Whiskey and chocolate flights will be available for $20, there will be a cigar bar to take the experience to another level, Jameson cocktails will be flowing, and there will be musical accompaniment from impassioned acoustic songwriter Ciaran McMeeken. A treat for all the senses.

Mr Toms' Whiskey and Chocolate Lounge will take place every Thursday for the next month. Drop by between 5pm-til late.
