The animal rights organisation which has previously used Pamela Anderson and porn stars in their ads has now come up with a campaign which is even more blatantly suggestive.

US Animal rights organisation PETA has once again managed to shock audiences. Infamous for their risqué advertising ploys (Pamela Anderson and porn star Jenna Jameson have been featured in past ads), their 2011 Super Bowl ad does not disappoint. The suggestive television spot is all about 'Veggie Love' a title, which has been taken so literally that it screams NSFW.

Even though the animal welfare group offered a whooping US $3 million for the ad slot it seems NBC could not be persuaded. Regardless of whether the ad gets airtime during the event, PETA's salacious marketing ploy has already created heated discussions and most importantly the right amount of media frenzy - an outcome that is no sheer to surprise to PETA's marketing team, I'm sure.
