Overview

One of the best things about Germany is wurst. Wherever you look, you'll find sausages — on the street, in restaurants, on posters advertising everything from television programs to eateries, the list goes on. Alas, brat lovers in Brisbane aren't so lucky, but we do have one haven dedicated to the tasty meat products. Then we had two, and now we have three. Danke very much indeed.

After first serving up delicious snags to the public on Caxton Street in Petrie Terrace, and quickly spreading the love to Fortitude Valley, Brat Haus has turned their Woolloongabba warehouse into a new venture: The Brat Cave. That means more sausages more often, really — plus brews, because brats and beers go mighty well together. Expect grilled brats, cheesy kranskis, knackwurst, vegan wurst, pork belly rolls and more, plus a selection of Aussie and German beer.

Expect plenty to do as well, thanks to a packed lineup of live music and events — such as beer yoga, aka exercise at its finest. A giant screen also reminds you that you're in Brissie's sporting capital. Sure, you could catch a game or match at the Gabba; or, you could get comfy, eat snags and watch it while drinking weissbier.
