Overview

The month of September is huge for Brisbane. Spring arrives, the weather gets warmer and sunnier and the Brisbane Festival takes over and turns the town into a gigantic party.

No exaggeration here – the Brisbane Festival is set to be absolutely massive this year. Famous international and local musical acts are coming to perform in front of Brisbane crowds, artists are working together to turn the CBD into a giant art installation and theatrical productions are happening everywhere.

Add in the always amazing light-show at South Bank, the annual Riverfire festivities and all of the amazing family activities, the festival is shaping up to be the best yet.

Kicking off on the 8th and continuing until the 29th of September, there is almost a whole month’s worth of fun and frivolity to be enjoyed.
