Overview

There might be no shortage of fish and chips shops in Brisbane — but there's no shortage of demand for succulent seafood and crispy slivers of potatoes either. Fuller & Hutch is the latest greasy spoon to join the list, and you know what they say: you can't have too much of a good thing.

All of your favourites are on their menu, with plenty keeping it classy and classic, and some given a twist. Yes, they serve prawn cutlets and scallops of both the sea and starchy vegetable variety, though the latter includes both regular and sweet potato. You won't find that at any ol' fish 'n' chippery.

When it comes to mains, you'll want a piece of the ocean's finest, a box brimming with fish, chips and the usual goodies, or that other staple: a burger. If the chip shop burger with grilled beef, lettuce, tomato, beetroot, onion and tomato sauce doesn't whet your appetite, then a po’ boy with Cajun fried prawns, slaw and aioli should. Grabbing one of the five wines or seven beers on offer is also recommended, because everyone knows that a feast of fried goodness isn't complete without a refreshing beverage.
