On Fridays we wear fluoro (and do yoga on the beach).
Bets are your pre-work Friday morning doesn't have enough yoga on the beach with beaming folk in fluoro lycra.
Sunrise Bender, the free, open-to-anyone yoga session held on the first Friday of each month, is here to fill that downward-dog-shaped deficiency in your life. The love-in/stretching session is held by Living Organic Co. in conjunction with OneWave — a non-profit that combats mental illness with surfing, salt water and good company.
Grab your brightest/only fluoro apparel and yoga mat, and meet near the ramp on the Bondi Icebergs side at 6.30am. (That sounds early but, I mean, how often are you up to see the sunrise, really? Let's not count the faint glow on the horizon as you stumble home after a big night out.)
When you're done, grab a (free!) organic treat courtesy of Bondi Wholefoods, comb the sand out of your hair and bask in that post-yoga whole-body calm. Expect compliments along the lines of 'you're glowing!' from haggard-looking colleagues who probably started their weekend too early. You're doing adulthood right.
