They're playing on March 9 with special guest Montaigne — we've got a double pass to give away.
We're almost halfway through the 2017 season of Twilight at Taronga, but there's still a chance to grab some tickets and head along. The after-hours live music series that boasts perhaps the best view of Sydney Harbour (as well as lots of adorable animals) has proven it's got some real cred when it comes to hosting outdoor gigs in the past few years.
There are still tickets available for the Tegan & Sara show on Thursday March 9 (they've just announced they'll be supported by Montaigne), as well as the Kurt Vile on Friday March 3 and Martha Wainwright on Saturday March 11. We've got one double pass to the Tegan & Sara show to give away, which includes a gourmet hamper for two. Picnic-bringing is encouraged at Twilight at Taronga. If you don't win, pre-order an incredibly delicious hamper when you buy your ticket online. They're filled with Australian produce, cheese, crackers and other delights. We tasted them, they're extremely generous and genuinely great. There's also a bar on-site and some general nosh available from the canteen.
All proceeds from Twilight at Taronga go back into the zoo's ongoing conservation work, including support of the first global community action tool, Wildlife Witness, which helps fight against illegal wildlife trade. PLUS, your ticket includes free entry to the zoo on the same day and return public transport. That's a big deal.
