Trygve Wakenshaw: Kraken

A wonderfully absurd one-man show about fear of change and the ocean floor.

Overview

Trygve Wakenshaw is back with his highly anticipated new physical comedy, Kraken. Wakenshaw's Squidboy took the festival circuit by storm recently, winning Best Comedy at Auckland Fringe in 2013.

In his follow-up work Kraken, the NZ-born, Paris-trained clown uses mime, mouth sounds and the audience's imagination to create a wonderfully absurd stream-of-consciousness narrative about fear of change and the ocean floor. It's already caused a fuss at the Edinburgh Fringe. If you've thought you'd never see a culturally relevant mime act this side of 1955, prepare to be amazed.
