Burger Time 69 - CLOSED

We'll forgive the bad name for the fact they serve haloumi fries.

Overview

Brisbane is surfing the crest of this seemingly endless burger trend, and the latest people to drop in on the wave are the good folk at Burger Time 69 in Bulimba. This late-night burger shop is fast becoming an UberEATS fave, but their in-store vibe is well worth leaving the house for too. They've got a pared-back menu giving firm props to the OGs of the burger scene; a solid cheeseburger ($10.90) and Philly cheesesteak ($14.90) serve to whet the whistles of fans of the classics.

On the other hand, burger nouveau aficionados will find their new favourites among the not-so-standard. The Gorgon Zola boasts beef, bacon, cheese and blue cheese, onion and Buffalo ketchup ($14.90), while vegetarians will be delighted with the Roomie Haloumi with mushroom, haloumi and hummus ($12.90). There's also a Hawt Dawg ($9.90) on offer with a Kransky for the sausage. Burger not enough for you? Order from a range of the usual sides, like mac and cheese balls ($5.90) and the not-so-usual, like haloumi fries ($7.90). Be judicious with your ordering and you just might be able to fit it all in, plus a milkshake ($6.90).
