The Second Artist Release For Rhythm and Vines is Here

Already offering up a bit of nostalgia, a little bit of trap, music to swoon to, and some tropical house with their first artist release, Rhythm and Vines' second haul of acts continues to push the limits of genre definition with a freewheeling party rapper, some electronic heavyweights, a hypnotic rock 'n' roll band, and some contestants from X Factor

US rapper Mac Miller will kick off the festival with a headline performance on December 29. Last in NZ for the final Big Day Out, Miller's forthcoming visit comes off the back of his third album GO:OD AM.

In a similar vein to their relationship with Hospital Records, this year Rhythm and Vines have partnered with international electronica brand UKF. The British label will be present a stage on December 30, hosting big name electronic acts including Grammy award-winning drum 'n' bass trio Nero (DJ set), Surrey producer Sub Focus (DJ set), multi-faceted electronic producer Kove and London's Dimension, joining the already announced Pendulum.

Further acts set to entice those with a firm grasp on EDM include rising Swedish rapper and producer Yung Lean, Canadian duo Zeds Dead and US producer Wuki.

Local acts added to the bill include powerful soul singer Hollie Smith, grooved-based rock band Racing X Factor NZ highlights Brendon Thomas & The VibesDJ Sir-Vere and rapper PNC - who will both join Scribe for a reunion performance.
