Overview

If all your indoor plants died when you went away over summer and forgot to get anyone to come and water them, never fear. The Neighbourhood Studio is bringing back its somewhat regular Plant & Ceramic Pop-up for its first 2017 incarnation.

These several-per-year sales are run by the studio— which is best known for its screenprinting facilities and classes— in association with a handful of Wellington ceramicists, artists and food producers, plus the most coveted indoor plants from Lush Lane, the formerly local plant distributor now based in Taupo.

Fill your flat with monstera and fiddle-leaf figs from the aforementioned Lush Lane, pot them in handmade ceramics from the likes of Wundaire, Tamago and Paige Jarman, pick up prints by Mutis Mars and Flora Waycott, brighten up your tea towel drawer thanks to The Herbarium, and fill your autumn pantry with cacao husk tea by Mayan Man.

Swing by from 11am until 5pm on 9 April at Unit 28, 369 Adelaide Road in Newtown. Get in early before all the best ferns are gone.
