Overview

Today in stores-you-may-not-know-are-there: Supreme Coffee's newest space in Midland Park. The space, with its high arch windows and minimal aesthetic smells (of course) of the deep hum of espresso.

Having celebrated their 22nd birthday, Supreme has jumped across the street from their flagship Woodward Street location into a fit out that is pushing a new retail experience for its consumers. As always, the design is flawless and functional. The soft oak furniture punctuated by strong powder coated steel and overall conceptual flagship aesthetic give the customer a sense that this space is revolutionary in terms of coffee retail. The space is designed to build an interactive and inclusive environment to give an immediate taste for the Supreme range, anchored around a flowing layout of solid, oak-topped benches. Two benches focus on coffee preparation, tastings and method, while the third functions as a bean dispensary and sales station.

The store offers 15 coffee blends and single origins, with a breadth of brewing devices laid out for customers to try. Also on offer is a range of coffee merchandise, from Porlex handmills, Swissgold filters and KeepCups to Supreme's own coffee mugs and fine Japanese crockery.

Supreme are also leading interactive learning and education coffee-wise. The space hosts free coffee making workshops, tasting classes, and corporate groups. The ethos of Supreme, a respect for their craft and a sense of passing this on to their customer is inherent in the new space.
