Hey Jupiter Brasserie
Find cafe chairs spilling onto the footpath, coffee and croissants in the morning sun, and wine and classic French dishes as the sun goes down.
Overview
Hey Jupiter is an East End institution. Green and metro-tiled, cafe chairs spilling onto the footpath, coffee and croissants in the morning sun. Step inside and you're in a French brasserie, run by a French expat and his Australian wife, dishing up oysters, duck confit, hanger steak, and baguette sandwiches regulars can't quit.
Weekends mean all-day breakfast, and Champagne poured for anyone stretching the morning out. Lunch works for deals over duck confit. Dinner turns into a proper occasion: multiple courses, a bottle or two, profiteroles and crème brûlée to finish. Backed by a cellar loaded with French and South Australian wine, there's no reason to rush any of it.
