Comedic hotshots Sweeney Preston and Ethan Cavanagh are bringing funny back in 2024. Touching down at Adelaide Fringe after winning Best Comedy Award at New Zealand's Dunedin Fringe and performing across Australia, the duo will be presenting not one, but two festival faves.
Fresh off a residency at Melbourne's Comedy Republic and sold-out shows across Australia and New Zealand, Preston and Cavanagh will host The Late Nite PowerPoint Comedy Showcase from Friday, February 16 to Saturday, March 16 at The Bally at Gluttony. Six comedians will share PowerPoint presentations show-and-tell-style, so get ready to step back into the world of slide transitions and word art. Full-priced tickets are $25.
In In Pour Taste: A Comedy Wine Tasting Experience, the boys will guide audiences through multiple wine tastings, showing off their expertise (or lack thereof) with every sip. The witty show was a huge hit in 2023, winning an Adelaide Fringe Weekly Award and selling out for the season. Catch the 90-minute show at the BankSA Theatre at Gluttony from Sunday, February 18 to Sunday, March 17. Tickets are $49 and include five wine tastings.
