Overview

We all love weekends. Whether you're one for spending them out in the great outdoors, kicking back with a book or heading to one of the many bars around town, these short-but-sweet days of respite are bliss. Now, dear Adelaideans, you can add yum cha at Rosemont Hall to the lengthy list of leisurely activities.

Happening from 12–4pm every Saturday and Sunday, the Rosemont Hall weekend affair will let you get your dumpling brunch fix. While it eschews the typical yum cha traditions like lazy susans, tanks filled with live seafood and, most importantly, food ferried about on trolleys, you're still in for a treat.

For $44, you'll get your choice of four dim sum baskets — think prawn and chive har gow, barbecue pork buns and vegetarian dumplings. Plus, other snacks are available to order, such as shallot pancakes, wontons with chilli and black beans and cheeseburger spring rolls, as well as larger dishes like peking duck and crispy eggplant with sichuan peanut caramel. Drinks-wise, you can currently get in on the epic drink deals, where you can nab $6 brews and $12 cocktails — we recommend the pomegranate daiquiri.
