Rethink the classic vodka soda with this sophisticated serve.

It’s all too easy to dismiss the classic vodka soda during cocktail hour — but we’re here to tell you that doing so would be a mistake. After all, there’s plenty to love about the classic serve: it can be enjoyed year-round, it’s remarkably drinkable and, perhaps more importantly, it could not be more simple to make.

The humble vodka tonic is also a great base from which to get creative. Just a couple of extra ingredients are all you need to turn your pour into a multi-layered delight — and you won’t break a sweat while nailing it, either.

To that end, we’ve teamed up with Grey Goose to showcase how you can level up your cocktail hour this summer, with this sophisticated take on a vodka soda.

Fresh Cut Spritz

Light, refreshing and so simple to put together, this sophisticated spritz is summer in a glass. It’s just as well suited for a brunch pour as it is for a sundowner, thanks to the delicate and floral nose of the Grey Goose vodka, while an optional splash of vermouth highlights the spirit’s rounded palate and bold, toffee-like finish.
