WHAT IS ADELAIDE FRINGE?

Adelaide Fringe is an annual festival that traces back to 1960 and has since evolved into the largest arts festival in Australia and the southern hemisphere. The massive lineup features local, national and international acts, with a focus on upholding diversity, creativity and innovation.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Fringe is an open-access festival, which means that the organisation doesn’t control or limit the program, allowing hundreds of performers and venues to participate. As such, there aren’t any festival passes — you are in control of what you want to see and can buy tickets to individual events to curate your own Fringe lineup. You can check out the full program and buy FringeTIX here.

WHEN IS THE FESTIVAL?

The Fringe runs for a month from Friday, February 16, to Sunday, March 17, 2024. Some events only run on certain days throughout the month, so check out the full program for detailed dates.

WHERE IS THE FESTIVAL?

With hundreds of venues in this year’s Fringe, there are events across Adelaide city and beyond, from the CBD to the wineries at McLaren Vale. Some of the key hubs include Gluttony at Rymill Park, Wonderland Festival Hub at Hindmarsh Square and The Garden of Unearthly Delights at Rundle Park. Use this handy map to see all of the venues across the state.
