Overview

Just a short drive from Cape Willoughby lightstation, you'll come across Kangaroo Island's Lashmar Conservation Park, which adjoins the long sandy stretches of Antechamber Bay. The park is an ideal spot for swimming, fishing and birdwatching, so if you're a fan of any of these leisurely sports, be sure to make a pitstop. There's a beautiful picnic area and two campgrounds, too, if you're keen to pitch a tent and stay a while. Then, you can explore the conservation area further by kayaking along the Chapman River where you can watch out for wildlife. The river eventually leads to Antechamber Bay, where you'll find a lovely private beach perfect for a dip.
