Splore Festival has announced part two of their eclectic artist lineup. And with already announced acts including poetic singer-songwriter Sampa the Great, electro-pop duo GL, British reggae ska band The Dub Pistols and jungle music pioneers The Ragga Twins on the bill— the 2017 edition is shaping up to be a pretty slick event.

Leading the second release for the country's greatest dress up party is Skye and Ross of Morcheeba. For their first New Zealand appearance the pair will feature material from their newly released album, which retains classic Morcheeba elements of trip hop, blues and downtempo soul. Joining them will be UK rapper Lady Leshurr, California hip hop duo Blackalicious, underground hip hop artist Lateef the Truthspeaker, British beatboxer/comedian Beardyman, virtuoso Indian musicians The Maharaj Trio and local band Sorceress.

DJs added to the bill include Brazil's Tahira, and locals: Eastern Bloc, Inky Waves, Chiccoreli and Tali, Cian, Jason Eli, Matt Drake, Funk Ferret, Randomplay, Gene Rivers, Finn, Adam O, FJ, Guy Johnson, Oaariki, Lauren F, Takas and Dastardly Bounder.

A full performing arts schedule is still to be released for the Living Lounge. See the first lineup here.

Splore 2017 is set to take place from February 17-19, 2017 at Tapapakanga Park.
