Overview

Not (just) a day in celebration of the (mediocre) Will Smith movie, Independence Day, the 4th of July comes once a year and so does this party. Marking the independence of America 240 years ago, this US party day has since gone global.

Local creole bar and restaurant Orleans are bringing the party to Auckland, regardless of the season or continent, offering both lunch and dinner menus. Come by with that special person, posse or arch-enemy to enjoy the holiday the traditional Southern way.

On the menu you'll find warm cobb loaf, hot wings, ranch dogs, smashed potatoes fried in duck fat, and rhubarb and strawberry short cake. Both sittings are a two person minimum and bookings are essential so get in quick to enjoy the party.
