Overview

Artweek is back and taking over various locations around Auckland City. This year there will be over 1000 artists in more than 100 venues, over ten days. With the point of creating opportunities for artists in New Zealand, we see a wide range of contributions over a variety of locations. Meaning there is bound to be something for everyone, novice or savant alike.

Walking tours through Ponsonby with Edward Bennett, a pop-up paper art gallery by Auckland Library, and an interactive, multi-sensory exhibition in Silo Park by Peter Roche - there really is a range of artistic endeavours for everyone.

For those looking to expand their horizons and partake in more hands-on events, workshops are in high demand. From artistic ways to keep children busy, print making and retro art evaluations, the options are limitless.
