Auckland Zinefest Market 2018

Overview

For the uninitiated, zines is short for fanzines, and fanzines are self-published works, which can feature, pretty much anything you want actually, from poetry and essays to comics or photography. A celebration of all things zines, Auckland Zinefest Market returns to the Auckland Art Gallery for its ninth year on Sunday 15 July.

The Zinefest Market will be held in the North Atrium of the Gallery from 11am until 4pm. There will be 94 stall holders gathering to sell their fresh zines with opportunities to learn about this niche and the creative print community which has stood the test of time and continues to survive in our increasingly digital world.

In true analog fashion, purchases are cash only so pop by an ATM enroute. Come along to enjoy a celebration of people and paper.
