Get your glad rags on for this stylish event of creative proportions. The AUT Rookie Fashion Show is a relief for the students participating and a fantastic showcase of some of the top talents in their final year of study.

Media, industry know-it-alls and proud family and friends are all regulars in attendance; public are also able to purchase tickets if you'd like a sneak peek of some potential big names in the future fashion industry.

Providing a real taste of the intensity and craziness of the fashion industry, the show is known to be an eye-opening insight into, hopefully, what these young grads can look forward to in the future. In the past this show has proven to be a significant kick-start for the careers of some young designers with many going on to create their own labels and work internationally with exciting key designers.

Some exceptionally talented students go through those halls, so no doubt this show will be a night of glitz, interest and not so much of the Project Runway Rookie cliches. A nice way to support the growing New Zealand fashion industry would be heading along to see the collections on show from the top final year students.
