Briefs: Close Encounters

Overview

All-male burlesque troupe, Briefs, are coming back to New Zealand promising "galactic glamour, astro-athleticism and interstellar aerials" with their new show Close Encounters. For anyone who hasn't seen one of their shows, expect something unlike anything you've experienced — fruity, glamourous cabaret and performance, mixed with humour and just a little raunch.

Formed back in 2008, the crew has moved from club shows to selling out stages in London, Berlin, Paris, Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide. The new show will reportedly include dancing, acro-balancing, trapeze, lip-syncing, frocks and who knows what else. As per usual, at Q Theatre there will be cocktails, canapes and goodies served throughout the night, making this the perfect opportunity for a rowdy staff party or end of year celebration.
