Want to get a glimpse at some of New Zealand’s best fashion offerings this season? Want some freebies and a bit of shopping thrown in there too? Who doesn’t. Lucky for all of us, then, that the Britomart Fashion Sessions are offering just that.

Britomart Fashion Sessions showcases the 2015 Autumn/Winter collections from a myriad of top local designers including WORLD, Trelise Cooper, Kathryn Wilson, Zambesi and Taylor. Unlike many other fashion shows, the Britomart Fashion Sessions are redefining ‘fast’ fashion by only presenting garments from current seasons, meaning that fashionistas can hit the Britomart boutiques to try on the collections for themselves immediately after seeing them on the catwalk.

The weekend will mix high fashion, streetwear, men’s and women’s apparel. There will also be hair styling by Ryder Salon and Dry & Tea, makeup by MAC Cosmetics and Bobbi Brown. Necomer to the event, Mindfood Style, will also be present to host a group show, featuring looks from some of the precinct’s other well-known local and international labels.

Standing entry will be available to all shows free of charge for those wanting to rubberneck. But it will pay to get there early in order to nab the best style-stalking spot as space will be limited.

For those who want the full package, tickets include prime seating positions right beside the catwalk and an invite to the chic pre-show event at The Nathan Club with drinks, canapés and a luxury goodie bag. Well worth it, really.
