Overview

With summer barbeques and the sumptuous seafood season now behind us, the annual Cloudy Bay Pinot & Duck Winemaker Dinner has arrived just in time to remind us that there's plenty to love about winter— and it's mainly the cuisine.

Marking the beginning of the duck season in New Zealand, May 3 will see waterfront haunt Oyster&Chop positively quacking as renowned Cloudy Bay viticulturist Jim White hosts a four-course duck-inspired banquet peppered with his signature passion for food and wine, and lashings of their moorish Pinot Noir varieties.

Renowned for their meticulous attention to detail and the production of world-class wines, Cloudy Bay Vineyards is a proud founding member of Sustainable Wine Growing in New Zealand, and while vego's might take umbrage, the annual 'Duck Tasting Trail' is a conscientious reminder to enjoy dining with the seasons.

Set amidst the sparkling waterfront lights, the evening promises a decadence and luxury you certainly deserve – so use the cooling temperatures as an excuse to sample what promises to be one of the finest feasts of the season.
