Overview

Set against the backdrop of the beautiful Botanic Gardens, the king of all free events is back for its ninth year, featuring six hours of top tier musical tributes to the imitable Elvis Presley.

Boasting bouncy castles for the kids, as well as face painting, organised turbo touch and a dedicated KidZone, there's plenty to keep the nippers occupied while you bop the day away and maybe even bust out some of those infamous hip gyrations.

With headliners Dean Z trekking all the way from Montana in the USA, you're sure to revel in an authentic '50s experience complete with a vintage dress competition for both the men and the ladies. Also set to take the stage are Elvis fiends: Brendon Chase, Paul Fenech Sydney, Che Orton, Kerryn Winn, Elvis in Concert Band and Johnny Angel.

So pack a picnic (or treat yourself at any number of vendors on site), maximise the free carparking and bring a gold coin for this years' chosen charity which is Arthritis New Zealand.
