Gochu Test Kitchen

The team behind Parnell's Simon and Lee and Newmarket's The Candy Shop opened Gochu in June 2020, spotlighting natural wine, twisted classic cocktails and modern Korean food. This month, the bar and restaurant is firing up its kitchen for a weekly experimental dining series.

Gochu's test kitchen runs on the first Tuesday of every month and sees co-owner and executive chef Jason Kim play around with fun and exciting dishes. The test kitchen menu isn't released until the day, but you can expect to see some exciting Korean dishes you won't find anywhere between here and the back streets of Seoul.

The test kitchen service will set you back $45 a head.
