Overview

Purveyors of contemporary Chinese cuisine in Auckland, Judge Bao, will set up along Karangahape Road for the month of September with a semi-permanent pop-up.

Owner-operators Bun Hun and Sauce Boss will take over the space at 321 K' Road, the vacant space two doors down from The Pie Piper, to serve their signature handmade bao, rice bowls and small shared plates that will only be available at the pop-up. These include roast duck pancakes, char siu roast pork, Silk Road spice rubbed fried whole wings and more.

An intimate dining room will be assembled with the help of The Pallet Kingdom. Diners are invited to pull up a pew at the pop-up from 5-8.30pm (or until sold out) — be sure to check the Kickin' It On K' Rd Pop-Up event page for opening days. Takeaways will also be available.
