Overview

As we all know, life is far too short to be drinking bad wine.

In its fourth year running, the New Zealand Boutique Wine Festival showcases a selection of over 200 high quality wines from our nation's best wine regions. With the majority of exhibits from smaller boutique vineyards, it's an opportunity to discover new wines, try rare varieties and in many instances purchase wines that are normally only available from the vineyard itself. A unique feature of the event is the vertical tasting sessions where you can sample the same wine, bottled over consecutive years and physically taste how the wine has changed over that period.

In addition to tasting beautiful wine, guests can attend masterclasses from leading wine communicator Jo Burzynska and professional sommelier Cameron Douglas, enjoy live music and indulge in a specially created lunch and dinner menu from Everybody's restaurant.

Held over three levels in the majestic Imperial Lane buildings, this is a sophisticated wining and dining experience you won't want to miss.

Early bird tickets are available now until May 29 and include a free festival glass, event programme and one free taste on entry. They've even partnered up with Uber to offer each guest one free ride (up to $20) from the festival to home. So eat, drink (responsibly) and be merry because no great story started with someone eating a salad.
