Overview

As part of Auckland Artweek celebrations, New Zealand's home of craft, design and architecture, Objectspace, will branch out from its new Rose Road location for a pop-up design market.

From October 6-10, Objectmarket will showcase the works of 50 New Zealand makers, giving the public an opportunity to buy one-off textiles, ceramics, glassware, homewares and jewellery by artisans Monmouth Glass Studio, Areez Katki, Ruth Castle, KLAY, Godmother, Kristin D'agostino, Joanna Campbell, Raewyn Walsh and more.

The inaugural Objectmarket will be held in the Sapphire Room at Ponsonby Central. The event occurs alongside Ponsonby Central's other Art Week exhibitions including Photo's Inc, a collaborative collection of works by Neil Pardington, Anna Smith, Anna Comrie and Patrick Reynolds, and Colours Co. featuring contemporary artists such as Andrew J. Steel, Charlotte Graham, Joel Hart and Flox. All proceeds from Objectmarket will go towards the showcased makers, and to help strengthen Objectspace's diverse exhibition programme.
