Having spent the last year across the ditch - apparently he was exiled for breach of the GCSB - Auckland rapper Tom Scott (Home Brew, @Peace) will return home to curate the next event in the Red Bull Sound Select series.
As well as being given the task of pulling together a righteous line-up for the night, Scott will perform with his newly formed group Average Rap Band. The appearance will celebrate the release of their debut video EP ‘Stream of Nonsenseness’, and will be their first (and quite possibly last) performance in New Zealand.
Joining Average Rap Band will be fellow Young, Gifted and Broke affiliate’s Team Dynamite, Esther Stephens & The Means, and Wellington folk/electronica trio Groeni, led by producer Alexander Green.
Red Bull Sound Select is an initiative that aims to support music influencers, hard working artists and passionate fans by throwing epic parties with a minuscule price tag.
Entry is $3 via RSVP or $10 on the door.
