Overview

Pumbaa, Aladdin, Elsa, Quasimodo, Coach Bombay from The Mighty Ducks, and the rest of the Disney gang are going to be down at Aotea Square this weekend. Though instead of just your average student trying to make ends meet by dressing up in a hugely uncomfortable costume, the characters will actually retain some Disney magic by being projected onto an extravagant water feature.

A great way to get the kids out of the house and away from that damn Playstation, the show will combine everything from lasers, lights, music, water projections and visual effects to bring to life some of Disney’s most iconic and loved movies. The 12-minutes show will air every half hour from 6pm until 9pm. The free entry includes face painting.

What’s the deal? It’s all celebrating the launch of a new movie channel dedicated to Disney on Sky.
