Overview

SPIT, a low-key event for the hip-hop inclined will make its debut outing on Saturday, October 10. Turtleneck Promotions is an event management company established only this year. Since their inception they have crept their way into the underground music scene with a list of noteworthy events and great acts popping up around Auckland.

SPIT seems to be no different, boasting an interesting lineup for all ages. Kicking the night off is Heavy. Attendees can expect a lot of distortion with the duo's alternative rap style, not classic but an interesting way to start the night. Following is LarzRanda. This young kid oozes talent and has the character to back it up, expect to hear his most recent EP, Rangers on the night. A good tune overall with a quirky video to boot.

One to watch out for will definitely be Samphonix, the 22-year-old shore kid recently had some headway teaming up with Koda Sound for the song 'Psychosomatic', a trap club tune which is different to his usual output like, 'The Bullshit'. Making his debut on the night is Gaia, who ticks all the boxes with a smooth, clear voice and dark sounds; a great way to end the night on a high note.
