Overview

Splore is one festival that needs to go at the top of your bucket list. With a variety of local and international acts and a main stage that's located right on the beach, it's an epic adventure tucked away in its own piece of paradise. Bursting with a variety of art, music, performance, food and good vibes, you're guaranteed to leave feeling refreshed with a new enthusiasm for life.

As well as allowing you to watch acts from the comfort of your beach towel, the festival is known for its eclectic music policy and advocacy of creative expression. Leading the first artist lineup is London-based grime-pop emcee and Mercury Prize winner, Dizzee Rascal. Off the back of his sixth album, Dizzee will make an overdue return to New Zealand this summer.

Splore is a truly diverse music and art festival and is perfect for all the family as it caters for all ages — even the kids have their own zone. From tribal games to acrobatic classes, the kids will be entertained while you kick back and listen to some of your favourite tunes.  For the very young they have a peaceful area to take time out from all the hustle and bustle.

Day or night Splore is truly magical, so don't forget to buy your tickets for New Zealand's greatest dress up party.
