Overview

Waiheke Island is a pretty special place. Its quirky and unique in many ways, just happens to have 80km of council laid walking trails, a whole heap of hidden bays, and some rather impressive sights, tastes, and sounds.

This 9-day walking festival aims to get all Aucklanders familiar with the beauty of Waiheke and the conservation efforts occurring on the island. The festival involves 46 free guided walks over nine days, with something to suit everyone's interests and fitness levels.

Enjoy strolls through vineyards, beach walks with the kids, and day long hikes for those serious bush whackers.
