Overview

A collaboration of six monologues from six very different characters, Whore is a contemporary, topical work that is based on true events. The show presents a diverse range of personalities whose only common trait is their career - they are all street sex workers.

Written and directed by Melissa Fergusson, who brought you Motherlock and Salt, she is joined with the talented Rebecca Parr, Lee Ah Yen Faatoia, and Geraldine Creff taking the stage. The performance is sponsored by Lifewise, an Auckland-based community organisation dedicated to solving social issues and helping people in need.

The events start 8pm each night.
