Overview

Dominion Road is well-known for a lot of things, but breakfast & brunch cafes are not one of those things.....yet. Cereal Killa is angling to change that reputation.

The exterior is nothing to write home about. Inside is a different story. They've funked things up with bright pop-art style paintings & cereal box displays. The owners will welcome you in, sometimes even pulling up a chair to have a chat. The counter display holds all manner of goodies, and they serve delicious eighthirty coffee: fairtrade & organic, therefore guilt-free.

The food is your regular brunch fare with a few novelties thrown in; such as Savoury mince & butterbeans on potato rosti or the Breakfast trifle. They do a great vegetarian big breakfast as well. The menu caters for kids (egg & soldiers anyone?!), and the drinks selection includes a great range of freshly squeezed juices. The beetroot in their Booster juice is guaranteed to flush away any hangover remnants.

Cereal Killa is building up a strong local following & is definitely worth a drop-in for fab coffee & a good brekky feed.
